The purpose of the Friends of Wayne County Parks is to raise, accumulate and disburse funds in support of recreational opportunities solely for  Wayne County Parks and to exercise all the rights, powers and duties conferred on non-profit corporations under the laws of the State of Michigan in carrying out the said purpose.
